Further Education

Welcome to FE!

Each week as a department we undertake offsite activities that enable the young adults to experience and be part of the wider community.  Both groups visit the local gym at Mill Chase Leisure centre weekly and make a picnic and get out and about at Alice Holt/QE Park.

The Personal Progess award enable them to develop and practice vital personal and independent skills, like preparing drinks and snacks and looking after your own home.

Lord Taverners Table Top Cricket Competition 2017

On Friday 10th February FE2 went to compete at a county Table Top cricket event held at the Aegas Bowl, Southampton.  They were playijg against 9 other teams from special schools across Hampshire.  They played very well and won all their games - they continued to remain undefeated and walked away overall winners!  Their next challenge will be to represent Hampshire at a regional competition held at Sussex County Cricket Ground later in the year.  Well Done to Mrs Kirby and her group - Zoe, EJ, Christian, Bryan, Kara and Megan.

Alton College

FE2 have been attending Art and Craft sessions at Alton College every Tuesday morning this term.  The group have also been able to visit the student café and choose and purchase a snack.
