Below you will see links to a page for your child's class.  This page will include information and activity ideas that you can do with your child at home.  If your child has been instructed to stay at home, the home learning documents will be updated weekly.  There may also be links to other sites that have activities and games for your child to explore.

These Go! Collections are FREE throughout school closures, they are appropriate for most ages and subjects.

Home Learning Hub

The Twinkl Home Learning Hub provides daily, FREE activities for different age groups and subjects. They will add new content each day, including videos, games and activities.

BBC Live Lessons and BBC Bitesize

To support the BBC content beginning on Monday 11th January, Twinkl will be providing aligned resources to use each day. They will be sharing these in our Home Learning Hub, in daily blogs and schedules, and letting you know through their social media channels. Best of all, every resource you’ll need to go alongside the BBC lessons will be FREE to access and share.

Twinkl Video Content

Twinkl will also be providing video content each week to complement the BBC’s offering. Covering a range of topics and curriculum areas. We’ll make sure these are available in our Home Learning Hub and through our YouTube channels, again completely FREE to access.

Twinkl Newsroom delivers the news for kids today. Their daily kids’ news reports are child-friendly and a perfect way to help children explore the news with new content every day. Each news report comes with a range of curriculum-friendly teaching resources.

Twinkl Kids TV YouTube Channel

For quick, easy and highly-engaging lessons, songs and videos teaching phonics, times tables, SPaG and more, you’ll find everything you need on our Twinkl Kids TV YouTube channel. Each video links back to the Twinkl site with guidance and resources for parents. Accessible through any device or stream YouTube via the TV - perfect for learning at home.

Sumdog's free mathematics contest starts next Friday, January 22.

It will be great if students at Hollywater School can take part!

Students can play from home or in school, and it only takes about an hour in total to get a good score, which you can follow on our live leaderboard.  Miss D will keep you all updated with the daily leader board.
