Hollywater has a dedicated soft play room that is accessible to all classes across the school. This safe, cushioned environment is used in a variety of ways to support pupils’ development and wellbeing. It provides a space for pupils to climb, jump, and move freely to meet their sensory needs, and it also helps many pupils to self‑regulate in a calm and supported setting. The soft play room is an ideal place for developing gross motor skills, encouraging physical confidence, and offering opportunities for pupils to practise playing together, taking turns, and co‑operating with their peers.
