As a school, we are always striving to improve the way we communicate with our parents and carers. In recent months, we have introduced new email addresses and attendance apps to make it easier for you to get in touch with us.

Below, you will find the different methods of communication we now use. We encourage all parents and carers to use the channels outlined to help ensure clear, efficient, and effective two-way communication.

Arbor Parent Portal

Using Parent Portal enables you to make changes to your contact details, details about your child, such as medical conditions, dietary conditions and much more. You can also book parents evening through the app. You can also see your child’s attendance. This is the link to login https://login.arbor.sc/

Earwig Parent

As a school we use Earwig to track and monitor your child’s academic progress. Your child’s teacher will share selected images, video and documents that have been created throughout their school day. Earwig is also used to share your child’s school reports. Login instructions have been sent to your email address.

Scopay

Scopay is used for ordering your child’s school lunch. You can order your child’s lunch in advance. (If you pay for your child’s meal, please ensure their account is in credit). You are also able to pay for school trips and raffles through Scopay. If you do not have an account, please contact the school office and they will be able to send home the access code letter.

Studybugs

This system will enable you to inform us of your child’s absences and medical appointments, we will require proof of any medical appointments. You will no longer need to complete an absence form, except in exceptional circumstances such as holidays or funerals. To set up an account follow this link https://studybugs.com/about/parents

Email

To ensure your emails are efficiently answered or forwarded to the correct member of staff, we now have a dedicated parent email address.

parents@hollywater.hants.sch.uk please use this email for absences and general questions/information. You will receive emails from Hollywater School, please check your junk/spam folders.

Evolve/Hampshire County Council

From time to time, you will receive emails from Hampshire County Council for off-site trips. These requests are for us to receive consent from parent/carers and to give you information about the trip. We hope this helps you better understand how we communicate with you, and we truly appreciate your cooperation. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
