School Lunches
At Hollywater School, we believe that the best option for children at lunchtime is to have the hot school lunch, provided through our partnership with HC3S. We believe that the hot school meal option is much better for the children’s learning and health. The menus rotate on a three-week basis for variety of choice and nutritional content. We can also offer Secondary pupils a Jacket Potato option with the following toppings: cheese, baked beans, cheese & beans or tuna.
You can take a look at the menus here
Infant children are entitled to a free school lunch through the Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM) Scheme. You do not need to apply for this separately as Hollywater School will automatically register your child. Please click here to read more about School Lunches for New Starters.
Pupils may be eligible for Free School Meals (FSM) if their parents or carers receive certain qualifying benefits. In addition, all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM), regardless of family income. The school encourages parents and carers to apply for Free School Meals where eligible, as this may also enable the school to access additional funding to further support pupils’ learning and wellbeing. Applications are treated confidentially, and support is available from the school office for families who require assistance with the application process. Parents and carers can check eligibility and apply online via Hampshire County Council at: Apply for Free School Meals.
