Gold Class supports pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and those with complex health needs. Our sensory‑rich curriculum nurtures early learning skills and develops communication, with a strong focus on ensuring every pupil gains the most from their school day. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy are integrated into daily routines, and many pupils also benefit from hydrotherapy in our onsite hydro pool. Pupils have access to a range of specialist environments, including soft play, the sensory room, the immersive suite, and fully wheelchair‑accessible outdoor learning areas such as the Forest School.

Our staff are fully trained to meet pupils’ medical needs, including seizure management and gastrostomy feeding, and work closely with the onsite NHS Nursing Team. Pupils are further supported by visiting professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists (SaLT), Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists (OT). To ensure safe and dignified care, the classroom and adjoining bathroom are fitted with ceiling‑mounted hoists.
